The Federal Council expects companies to carry out human rights due diligence. For some companies, particularly SMEs, the implementation of due diligence processes and risk management can be a major challenge. For this reason, Switzerland supports the development of guidelines, guides, brochures and practical tools to facilitate the understanding and implementation of human rights due diligence processes.
In the context of the Swiss National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein and focusright have been offering a webinar regarding the Introduction to Human Rights Due Diligence in four languages (DE, FR, EN, I).
